On behalf of BotE Productions, I would like to wish a Happy New Year for 2008 to all my friends and my partners in BotE Productions ... 2007 was a great year and I would like to thank some of the people and places that helped make it that way ... First my BotE Partners, Doug Esterline, Barbara Read, and Hugh Dang --- also, Al & Yasuko at AL's PLACE, Martin & Yoko at PADDY MAC's, Jun-san at BAYSIDE and COFFEE KUKAN, Shiho & Toyota-san at SIDEWAYS, Kurt Iseda with NAVY MWR (CROW's NEST and WHITE BEACH) ...

Elana is the beautiful and talented daughter of our own Barbara Read .... and the acorn did not fall from the tree - Elana is well on her way to a successful professional career - I am very happy we can highlight her original music and offer for sale her first original recordings ... please listen. Well.. it did not take long - We have a new BotE partner - COFFEE KUKAN
Our good friend Jun no sooner closed up shop at the old Bay Side Cafe, and now is managing this beautiful coffee house in downtown Naha City.
COFFEE KUKAN, located in the Four Seasons building first floor, is a specialty coffee house and bar ... and what better place to get the Acoustic Live experience.

| ACOUSTIC LIVE UPDATE

Well... in case you haven't been watching, I just wanted to update you on Acoustic Live....
First, we ARE still ALIVE...and going strong. Last night, June 24th, we had our first full ensemble show with myself (Kluso), Doug Esterline, and Barbara Read, along with special guests Hieu Dang and Barbara's beautiful and talented daughter, Elana. And....if you were not there at Cafe Terrace NIRAI you missed a GREAT show (if I do say so myself).
We hope to have a chance to do more of these in the future, so please stay tuned. In the meantime, the BotE Coop Acoustic Live artists are continuing to play at our partnered cafe/bars on a weekly basis. So, please check the schedule for our next show. That's all for now. peace. kluso

Great News for Friends of BotE - we are starting to post our artists' music on this website - - you can listen to complete songs and even buy the music (for only $0.99) -
DOUG ESTERLINE's beautiful song, Dance With You Again, is the first song to grace our website and we are now adding many of KLUSO's tunes from his CD - Delicate Eye - also expect some new KLUSO songs to hit these pages soon -
This a great opporutinity to listen and even buy songs from our BotE Artists - if you like what you here, please come and see one of our upcoming Live shows.

| BOTE Loses a Good Friend and Partner

Well some notso good news -- our BotE Live parters and good friends at BAY SIDE CLUB will be closing up shop this month -- we will really miss Jun and all the Bay Side staff and our friends and customers...and we really appreciate the support Bay Side provided to BotE Acoustic Live ...
The good news is we will still be playing other venues in Chatan and nearby Kadena, AND we still have 2 shows remaining at the Bay Side - Saturday May 12th with FULL CIRCLE, and Sat May 19 (the FINAL SHOW) with Barbara Read and Friends -- we hope you can make it out and say THANK YOU and GOODBYE to Jun and The BAY SIDE CLUB.

Well... the other side of the coin is that BotE Live Productions has just partnered up with another great Cafe-Bar in the Chatan/Sunabe area - UROKO is a great little cafe smack dab in the heart of the Sunabe seawall -- just below and to the left of the more well know Transit Cafe, UROKO is a little hideaway that has great food, atmosphere, and NOW, LIVE MUSIC with the Acoustic Live gang. GREAT NEWS -- The DELICATE EYE CD shipment has finally arrived!!!! Now, the next question you are asking is "How do I GET ONE?" Well, there are several ways:
- Come to one of my KLUSO Akoustic Live shows and I will sell you one (normally discounted at live shows). Also, most of my live venues will probably have my CD for sale.

This is to let you know that Kluso and BotE Productions have signed on with OPEN RANGE RECORDS in Canfield, Ohio. You can purchase the KLUSO - DELICATE EYE CD at their website.
-- OPEN RANGE is a startup INDIE label specializing in American Roots Rock -- they are also interested in International artists, so that is where we come in. This ground level effort is being promoted by Will Kesling (former Okinawa music scene bassist) and Johnny Stanec. Their own band - First IN Space - is a phenomenal group. Hello everybody, and welcome to the premier of the BotE Live (in Okinawa) Web Page and Production/Promotion service. We are very proud to "set sail" on our adventure to promote music/artists and live music in general. Our ACOUSTIC LIVE artist coop is also underway thanks to the coop members, BARBARA READ, DOUG ESTERLINE, and KLUSO (..of course). The BAY SIDE CLUB (see our links page please) has signed on as our first BOTE LIVE Partner and we are looking forward to working with them to expand appreciation of their business, customers, and our music -- PLEASE COME JOIN US in "...Creating a Better Society Through Music".
